Frozen Yogurt Junction

I finally found a few minutes to sit down and start our family blog. Life has kept us so busy this year, with a new business. It has definitly been a year of learning experiences, which is good, I don't think we would want it any other way. We have learned to work together, and how to better manage our time to spend equal time with the boys. The boys have also learned alot from all of this.
We decided this year that we would open up a Frozen Yogurt Shop. The hardest part was deciding if we should or shouldn't. There were a lot of factors that played into the decision. We made our list of pro's and con's and decided to go for it after a lot of Prayer. After we made the decision to do it, everything fell into place like clockwork.
So we opened up Frozen Yogurt Junction in American Fork in June. We have six flavors of yogurt daily with over 30 different toppings including fresh fruit. We decided to make it self serve and charge .38 cents an ounce. This way if people wanted a little they could have a little, if they wanted a lot, they could have a lot! Have as much as you want! It has worked well and everyone who comes in just loves it and the idea of doing it yourself!
When decided what type of business we should open, we wanted to involve the boys as much as possible. After all this is a family business. We want to teach our boys the value of work!
Brandon and Blake both work here after schools and on Monday and Friday night. It has been really good for them to make some money this year. Blake has saved a lot! Brandon, well he bought a dirt bike a few months ago, and has spent a lot on it, trying to fix it up, and get it running. Which he did. We took the boys to the other side of Utah Lake over UEA weekend, and Brandon tried out his dirt bike! He was a little cautious, which is great. The boys all took their guns and shot clay pigeons! We have some good shots in our family. NOT ME!
